The estate Havighorst located in the municipality of Meppel, Drenthe. It is located on the North shore of the river registry for errors and is now used as a hotel. The first mention of the manor appeared in 1371, then it belonged to the family cluster van Denov.


In the XVII century Havighorst inherited the family van Munster. The building was sold to the municipality in 1963, then it was converted into a nursing home. Later, the purpose of the estate has changed several times, but in 1982, with the support of the Creative Association of Drenthe, the building was restored, he returned to the original look and opened a hotel here.

Estates made in classic Baroque style, it has 3 floors: on the ground is a huge hall and a kitchen on the second were the bedrooms of the owners, and the third is a spacious loft. The entrance to the building is decorated on both sides by three-meter pillars and an arch.
