Easter Island

Easter Island

The most distant island in the world is located in the Pacific Ocean, at a distance of almost 4000 km from South America. This Easter Island (Easter island, Isla de Pascua, Rapa Nui) is an amazing place, the birthplace of Moai. Who has ever dreamed of going there? It seems to me that everyone ever thinks about going on a tour on Easter Island and feeling like Tour Heyerdal. At least in dreams. For some reason, this volcanic island in the middle of the ocean has become a symbol of a mysterious place, native to everyone, but equally incomprehensible.
And I do not exaggerate when I say that we can call the distant Rapa Nui to our relatives. But to find out for sure, you need to find out how to get there in the most budgetary way.
Think about this place. A small piece of land formed by three volcanoes somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Its nearest neighbors are at a distance of more than 3,700 km — this is Chile — and 4,000 km if you decide to visit the idols of Easter Island from another beautiful place on Earth, from Tahiti. Although, to be honest, Pitkairn Island is closer, but there is no air communication with it. As you can see, all this way is not close. So the preparation for this journey must begin from afar.

We also wanted to take a closer look at the island, which the language doesn’t turn to call Chilean, and its population. Yes, legally Easter Island is part of Chile, and in fact its residents do not even pay taxes, that's it! And almost all of their income associated with tourists visiting the island in limited groups. Every day they fly and flies as much as the only airline that flies here from the mainland. So let's begin, of course, with the purchase of tickets, to be among the lucky ones who have visited Easter Island and seen stone idols.

Tourism in the Netherlands

March 05, 2017
Tourist attractions. One of the biggest attractions of the country are the windmills that you can find anywhere in the province. With the leaving of the cities, you get amidst the most accurate picture of the Netherlands.
Huge areas are covered with tulips. This is something that can not be seen everywhere. If you travel across the north, you will surprise how many channels cross the country in different directions.
Their purpose is to drain the country, much of which is below sea level. The Netherlands can impress everybody with its exceptional beaches. The sand is golden and very tender.
Many resorts worldwide import sand from here to improve the quality of their beach strips.
Ironically, however, the weather very rarely can tempt you to enter the sea, because the water is quite cool even in July and August.
Rotterdam. Much smaller than Amsterdam, Rotterdam is home to 1.6 million inhabitants. As ethnic composition, however, the local population is not less cosmopolitan.
Rotterdam is popular with its port, which is among the largest in the world. Port is complemented by modern skyscrapers. Rotterdam is situated in the delta of the river Rhine.
This is the main reason because of which the place  is very suitable for port with such proportions.
The Hague. The Hague is the second capital of the Netherlands (the country has two capitals). Unlike Amsterdam, this city has only administrative functions.
The population of The Hague is almost one million inhabitants. Here is the seat of the parliament, as well as most of the embassies. Here lives the royal family of the Netherlands.
The Hague is located in the southwest of the country between Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
These three cities because of their geographical proximity form together large megalopolis of more than 5 million inhabitants.
