May is the very month when we stop thinking about work. The sun is warming, the calendar is full of weekends, someone goes to nature for barbecues, and someone is already actively rotating the globe and looking for where to go on vacation. The variety of choice is very pleasing, you can choose a beach holiday by the seas and oceans, sightseeing tours in Europe, or travel to exotic islands. In May, there is still no that sweltering heat, a comfortable temperature, the sea is warming up and the season is already starting in most resorts, nevertheless, the prices for holidays in May are not so bite.

Perhaps May is one of the best months to visit European cities. You can forget about outerwear, dress boldly in summer and take a walk along La Rambla in Barcelona, ​​take a picture in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, see with your own eyes how the famous Cannes Film Festival takes place and watch that indescribable riot of colors in the Royal Park of Flowers in the Netherlands, where in early May, thousands of tulips are still in bloom.

Before the summer heat comes to Turkey, you have a great chance to go to sunny Istanbul - a city where all the best of European and Eastern culture is collected. The temperature in May is already comfortable for walking. You can walk through the Grand Bazar, see the famous Blue Mosque, or visit the modern art gallery, and in the evening go to one of the many nightclubs. Istanbul is a city of contrasts.     When the Greek mainland is still cool for swimming, the air and sea temperatures on several Greek islands are already quite comfortable for relaxing. Crete and Rhodes are the best choice for holidays in May. These are the southernmost and warmest among all the Greek islands. Already in early May, the water off the coast of Crete warms up to 24 degrees, the sun warms like summer, nature blooms with bright colors, exotic fruits sing, it's time to see the famous Knossos Palace or stroll through the old town in Chania, and for dessert - swimming on the azure beaches islands.

    The island of Rhodes is an excellent choice for a holiday at the end of May, it has a warm, mild climate, it rarely rains, you can see many interesting places with ancient architecture - the Rhodes fortress, the Lindos acropolis, try delicious national Greek cuisine, or just lie on the white sand near the Aegean seas.

Morocco 

    This sultry country with a unique oriental culture, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the endless Sahara desert is already waiting for its tourists in May. The medinas of the ancient capital of Fes, Marrakech with its heart - the “Jemma-El-Fna” square, the royal stables of Rua and the gardens of the imperial city of Meknes, the pearl of Casablanca - the Hassan mosque - the cultural heritage of the kingdom of Morocco is truly impressive.

Bali 

    On the paradise island of Bali, the weather in May is conducive to relaxation - the rainy season has already ended, the air and water temperature in the ocean is +27 degrees, the tourist season can be considered open. Bali is an island of two oceans - the Pacific and the Indian. It is so diverse that everyone will find something to their liking: ancient Buddhist temples, jungle safaris, tropical national reserves, snow-white beaches, volcanoes, surfing, the famous Balinese massage or noisy discos. The island has both fashionable resorts, like Nusa Dua, and more affordable Ubud, Amed and Lovina, or party Kuta and Seminyak. Recreation is equally beautiful in any part of the island; it is not for nothing that this is a favorite place for all newlyweds.
